Join us for a day of adventuring in Anza Borrego State Park! It’s such a privilege to live so close to this unique and beautiful corner of the earth God created for us–let’s go out and explore it!
WHEN & WHERE:
April 5th, 9:30am, meeting at Love’s Travel Center in Westmoreland & departing at 10:00 a.m. we’ll be making two stops before arriving at Anza Borrego: the unusual Republic of Slowjamastan and the Galleta Sculptures! Before the hike, we will stop by the visitor center where there is a gift shop and park information. There’s a $10 parking fee per vehicle.
WHAT TO BRING:
Backpack
Plenty of water
Sack lunch and snacks
Fruit
Sunscreen
Hat
Extra shoes and socks (there’s water in the creek!)
HIKE:
This rocky trail is a 3-mile round trip. Temperatures will be in the mid 80’s.
(The hike is not mandatory, so join us for a fun day and hang back at the visitor center if you’re not up for the hike!)
